Build Your Content Marketing Plan: A 10-Step Guide

Content marketing is clearly here to stay. In the most recent study of B2B marketers from the Content Marketing Institute, 88 percent of respondents said that their organization uses content marketing. In that same study, however, only 30 percent of those marketers said that they believed they were effective with their content marketing efforts. Today, companies of all sizes create and market content for many reasons: to generate and nurture leads, engage and educate audiences, build trust and credibility, advance their industry, and to attract and retain customers. It’s a phenomenon that leads to billions of pieces of content being created and shared (some estimate 4.75 billion pieces shared online daily). And that is part of the reason that so few content marketers feel successful with their efforts. It’s hard to cut through the clutter. Getting your content to shine through means it has to be remarkable, and it needs to be produced with a plan.

Quick Start Guide to Intent-Based Marketing

whitePaper | January 6, 2023

Since the beginning of B2B marketing as we know it, marketers have struggled with the question of how to get in front of the right prospects at the precise moment they’re ready to buy. For decades, the only solution was to use firmographic data (company size, industry, geographic footprint, etc.) which unfortunately offered no insights into whether the target would be ready to buy today, next quarter, next year, or ever. Things improved somewhat when technographic data came on the scene. By finding out which tools, technologies, and applications a company used, marketers could gain deeper insights into what they buy, how they operate, and what they might be looking to do next.

8 Ways Teams Use Data-as-a-Service to Drive Go-ToMarket Success

whitePaper | December 10, 2022

Almost a decade ago, McKinsey Global Institute found that data-driven organizations are not only 23 times more likely to acquire customers, but also six times as likely to retain customers, and 19 times more profitable than their competitors. Yet in 2021, NewVantage Partners found that “only 24% of organizations are data-driven.” With the velocity, volume, and variety of data, it is not easy to go from data to insights to action. Organizations struggle with bad data, siloed data, and multiple versions of the truth. No longer is it about having enough data, the focus is on having the right data and knowing what to do with it once you do.
