“The consumer experience cannot be timely and relevant without real-time data,” commented Rudolph. “Advertising interactions in 2022 and beyond will be shaped by re-activation, re-engagement, and retention through the deployment of data signals. The more brands and advertisers know about the best practices for using real-time data strategies across media channels, the more money-making opportunities they can create and sustain.”

The “Mastering the Pace of Change: Tomorrow's Digital Media Environment Won't Be the Same as Today's” session will be conducted by Bryan and Konopelski, alongside fellow industry leaders Amanda Farris of Phonexa and Tracy Laney of Active Prospect. They will discuss the future best practices of performance advertising.

“Digital advertising changes as often as digital media evolves, which means it’s always changing,” shared Bryan. “To foster a forward-thinking mindset, performance marketing professionals must keep up with the rapidly changing digital media landscape and invest in the strategies that will continue to deliver results.”

The Lead Generation World Conference aims to bring professionals in the performance marketing industry together. It is an important platform for industry experts to share their insights, network, discuss industry trends and learn strategies that can help them grow.

Account-Based Marketing Helps Businesses Improve Customer-Centric Experience, Says SoftwareReviews

PR Newswire | August 04, 2023

As digital adoption and economic uncertainty continue to grow in 2023, the importance of account-based marketing (ABM) to drive personalized customer experience is soaring. From the booming digital transformation sector to global events shaping consumer behavior, ABM is helping to improve the CXM experience, target key accounts, and go beyond speaking to the decision maker. To assist organizations in selecting the best ABM strategy and creating better alignment between the sales and marketing teams to positively impact customer experiences and revenue, SoftwareReviews has published its latest industry resource, Build Your Account-Based Marketing Strategy. According to the firm's research, there are over six decision makers on average within the buying committee. SoftwareReviews cautions that it is important to not pass up the opportunity to involve all the decision makers with an intentional ABM strategy. However, many marketers face challenges in developing their ABM strategy, including a lack of core capabilities to support ABM strategies and inadequate tools. "A successful ABM strategy begins with aligning sales and marketing efforts to create an ideal customer profile (ICP) and develop personalized programs with high-value accounts," says Julie Geller, principal marketing research director at SoftwareReviews. "ABM is typically used in businesses that are ready to mature their inbound marketing programs, looking to enhance their cross-sell and upsell efforts, and needing to alleviate strain on their sales team." SoftwareReviews' research further explains organizations of all sizes face implementation challenges when adopting ABM. These hurdles include unclear starting points, limited personalized content, insufficient historical data, and inadequate tools and processes. The firm also reveals that, unfortunately, many marketers unintentionally complicate ABM implementation by skipping fundamental steps and focusing on MarTech platforms. However, the research shows that by investing time in building robust foundational capabilities, organizations can significantly improve measurable results from their ABM strategy and achieve comprehensive effectiveness in their ABM initiatives. By adopting this approach, organizations can effectively target and cultivate relationships with high-opportunity accounts. Organizations that continually enhance their capabilities are able to swiftly identify and address any gaps, resulting in accelerated growth and the generation of invaluable growth insights for sales, customer service, marketing, and the leadership teams. The firm explains that an effective and impactful ABM strategy can be a powerful asset in managing complex customer relationships, and selecting the appropriate ABM approach that aligns with an organization's unique needs is crucial. SoftwareReviews recommends three types of ABM approaches marketing leaders should consider: Foundational ABM: Using programmatic platforms to enable activations like targeted advertising at scale and one-on-one email sequences with minimal personalization. Advanced ABM: Moderately customized programs for accounts with similar business challenges and needs by building a customer-centric experience. Transformative ABM: Highly customized programs for individual accounts geared to grow relationships through private events, ambassador programs, and one-on-one meetings, etc. "Many companies feel that ABM requires a high level of complexity and the use of AI platforms to achieve measurable success; however, this is just one approach. The beauty of ABM is that it is a scalable strategy, and if you have a solid enterprise inbound program in place, you should not encounter significant barriers to employing an ABM strategy," explains Geller. There is a correlation between the success of each level of ABM maturity and various factors, including available resources, business needs, and the presence of foundational elements within the organization. SoftwareReviews advises in the resource that the goal is not to employ a complex program or include all levels of ABM strategy but rather to select the most feasible for an organization. Blueprints are the firm's proprietary methodology for technology and marketing initiatives. The Build Your Account-Based Marketing Strategy blueprint, available to download, offers marketers and their organizations comprehensive insights into various ABM strategy types, instructions, tools, and project artifacts, as well as an ABM Maturity Diagnostic Assessment, for establishing a solid foundation for ABM. Salesloft Survey Shows AI Adoption Soars Among Sales Executives

Business Wire | August 01, 2023

Salesloft, provider of the first and only global AI-powered revenue workflow platform, today released the results of its 2023 State of AI in Sales Survey, which polled more than 500 U.S.-based sales executives. An overwhelming 95% of executives polled report their organization is currently using AI in sales in some capacity, and another 84% say their company has used generative AI in sales in the past year. “Generative AI is transforming nearly every industry right now. While it can help sellers draft pitches and write emails with unprecedented efficiency, the real power of AI lies in its ability to help sellers identify the next best action in their workflows to advance deals and improve the customer experience,” said David Obrand, CEO at Salesloft. “Backed by data-driven insights, AI can build real-time roadmaps that help sellers take the most important and impactful actions in the moment. This is a paradigm shift that will transform how B2B businesses engage with their prospects and customers, ultimately driving more relevant interactions and consistent revenue outcomes.” Salesloft’s survey also found that sales team burnout is rampant as sellers navigate an evolving landscape. More than three quarters (86%) of executives say they’ve noticed an increase in sales team burnout or turnover in the past year. Over half (57%) say they’ve noticed a moderate increase while 31% say they’ve noticed a significant increase. The survey indicated likely contributors to this are: Sellers are swivel-chairing between several software applications to perform their job: 40% of executives say their sellers need to log into 4-5+ applications to perform their job. Non-selling activities take up a significant portion of the sales team’s time: Nearly a third of executives surveyed (29%) said internal meetings and administrative tasks like data entry and CRM updates take up most of their team’s time. Amid this burnout, executives cite the ability to prioritize activities (52%) and increased efficiency and productivity for sales teams (49%) as the top two benefits for using AI in sales. Thirty nine percent of executives expect AI will take over more routine and repetitive tasks, freeing up sellers to focus on higher-value activities. In June 2023, Salesloft launched Rhythm. Powered by a proprietary, patent-pending AI engine called Conductor AI, Rhythm translates real-time buyer signals from across the Salesloft platform and partner integrations into a single prioritized workflow of the most important and impactful actions a seller should take in the moment. Unlike anything else on the market, Rhythm provides an explanation of why the action is important, building trust and intuition in sellers. “Watching my reps go through their Rhythm workflow is fantastic. They just run through their steps one by one, one click at a time,” said Vedant Namboodiri, Global Sales Operations Manager at Cin7. “Rhythm has been incredibly valuable in reducing the time our reps spend on admin and increasing the time they spend with customers. It makes me stop and think, 'Where was this when I was a seller?'" To learn more about Salesloft’s latest platform innovations and its recent launch of Rhythm, visit https://bit.ly/rhythmannounced. Research Methodology Salesloft collected responses between May 23 and June 13, 2023, from more than 500 executive-level revenue professionals responsible for selling products or services to other businesses (B2B).
