As the world's biggest and most reputable software marketplace, G2 is accessed annually by eighty million software customers. Its annual Best Software Awards recognize the world's top software firms and products based on accurate, timely consumer assessments. The G2 Top Marketing Product awards are given to software applications and organizations that deliver superior customer service experiences and outcomes.

In contrast, the top 100 products are ranked based on evaluations across all categories in which they participate. A software firm or product must get at least 50 authorized and published reviews during the 2022 calendar year to be considered for the Best Software Award. Therefore, only data from reviews submitted during the assessment period is reflected in the scores.
