Ammon: I also believe that unless you are creating a regular journal, (like Jennifer Slegg in The SEMpost), then content schedules are often massively overrated and out of place. Failing to hit the audience in the right spot, at the right moment, because you were trying to follow a schedule, instead of focusing on perfecting the emotional hit, is absolutely the most common mistake I see in so many blogs, newsletters, etc. Three bad posts in a row can be an auto unsubscribe, whether an actual one, or a mental note to the effect.
