Optimizely’s Integrated B2B Commerce & Content Cloud Solution Launched

B2B Commerce & Content Cloud Solution Launched
On December 21, Optimizely announced the launch of an integrated version of its Content Cloud and B2B Commerce Cloud products. By implementing these products together, brands can create effective content strategies and coordinate with large marketing teams for optimum results.

This integration uses the B2B Commerce Cloud as a commerce API to make crucial B2B data and capabilities available within the Content Cloud. When B2B customers choose this integrated solution, they can:
  • Avail B2B-specific features in the B2B Commerce Cloud
  • Manage pages, content, templates, and more using the Content Cloud
  • Create and manage multiple sites in the Content Cloud using the data for customers’ orders and products in the B2B Commerce Cloud
  • Use a combined site search engine that searches products in both the B2B Commerce Cloud and Content Cloud and delivers combined results
  • Use products cataloged in the B2B Commerce Cloud in the Content Cloud

To make it easy for customers to understand the real scope of this integration, Optimizely released a B2B-specific sample site that includes Content Cloud blocks and templates so they can customize their sites. Through this samples site, Optimizely addressed the time-to-market metric, critical metric B2B marketers consider before selecting a particular technology partner.
